About your Icy Wongs

about your
Icy Wongs
Taking care of your shoes can increase the longevity and wear.
We recommend storing your shoes in the dust bag provided to avoid dust build up and away from direct sunlight, which can weaken the structure of your shoes.
Care
Patent
Store
Store your patent pumps separately in the dust bags provided in our iconic red box. This avoids discolouration as patent shoes are sensitive to colour transfer if left together in close proximity.
Clean
Gently clean your patent pumps with a soft microfibre cloth, taking care to avoid coming into contact with any oils and grease.
Calfskin
Store
Store your calfskin pumps separately in the dust bags provided in our iconic red box. This prevents dust buildup
Clean
Unlike patent pumps, our calfskin pumps do not have any special finishes, therefore the leather is more susceptible to scratches and stains. We recommend taking your pumps to a shoe repair shop for specialist shoe care.

Our Leather Soles
Lightweight
Leather soles are much lighter than rubber soles, this allows you to wear your Icy Wong for longer hours without it becoming a toll on your legs.
Eco Friendly
Leather is a biodegradable material so rest assured that you are doing your bit for the environment !
No harmful products
Rubber soles has toxic microplastics ((Polyvinyl chloride acetate) (Araújo et al., 2022) and other nasty chemicals of which all is absent in Leather
Breathable
Leather is a breathable material whilst rubber soles are not breathable which means that there will be a buildup of moisture and may cause discomfort in prolonged wear - especially in warmer weather
